Chattanooga USA Dance Youth Scholarship
The Youth Scholarship Fund of the Choo-Choo Chapter of USA Dance was established in 2017 to benefit local student dancers who may need financial assistance in order to pursue ballroom dancing.
As a chapter we recognize that pursuing ballroom dancing as a hobby or career can be difficult financially, especially for students. We believe that as promoters of ballroom dancing, our duty is to support dancers of all ages by allowing for their growth in ballroom dancing in the Chattanooga area. Over the years, we've seen the student population of dancers decreasing, so now is the time to help our students pursue ballroom dancing if they desire to learn.
The Chattanooga USA Dance Youth Scholarship is an application-based scholarship. Applicants must write an essay describing how ballroom dancing effects every aspect of their life. Scholarship recipients choose from several different options where they want the money they are award to go.
